About
I'm an R&D engineer working across three areas: the physical side (manufacturing, 3D printing, hardware), software (Python, geometry tooling, real-time 3D), and visualization (CAD-to-photoreal product rendering — lighting, look-dev and materials in Blender/Cycles). Much of my work is building tools where no off-the-shelf option exists.
At Ortho Baltic I work on orthopedic and medtech 3D: CAD automation, modelling-workflow design and geometry tooling in Blender (Python/bpy) and Rhino + Grasshopper, a real-time PBR renderer for the product configurator, and 3D-printed-product development from model to production. Before that, as an R&D engineer, I built a robotic chemical-synthesis automation system that also became my master's thesis. I keep current with new tooling, programming techniques and AI integration.
